we establish the LAW

now on audio

Recently as I was in study the Lord gave me something that I pray is a blessing unto all God’s people that have His Law in their hearts. Today, I would like to share what He shared with you, my brothers and sisters. Please open your Bibles to Romans chapter 3. All that’s declared here by Paul is something even a babe in Christ can see.

Romans 3:1-31  What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?

This verse is better understood by reading the last two verses of the previous chapter. And so let’s do that. It says in Romans 2:28-29, “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:  (29)  But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”

As we continue, and all the way up to verse 8 in this chapter, we will witness the faithfulness of our God unto His written Word and His law.

What Paul is getting at here is that being a Jew doesn’t guarantee any of them eternal life in Heaven. The Jews, like anyone else, need to do God’s will to gain Heaven. For is it not written in Acts 10:34 that our “God is no respecter of persons:” And so, like every person through time, obedience is the key.

Just because they were the “chosen” people and ordained to preach the Oracles of God at one time doesn’t mean they can ignore His will and sin openly thinking they still retain their ordination or even gain Heaven. They can and have lost their salvation by ignoring God’s will and His Word right up to denying the Messiah who was to come. I have a page on the site titled “who is Israel” wherein I show many verses in the Old and New Testament proving, the title “Israel” has been removed from the Jews and placed on the obedient remnant Christians of today.

As prophesied, the SDA’s and Catholics today have the exact same mindset of the apostate Jews of old wherein they believe staying in the church guarantees them salvation. That statement alone proves they are not saved at all. For only Jesus can save. The church’s only duty is to obey. It can save no man! (VIDEO PROOF SDA’s echo RCC church on this almost word for word.)

 (2)  Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

What Paul is getting at here is that the Jews were ordained to preach truth; but instead they refused to preach it to the world. They kept it to themselves for eons and so the Lord sought out the Gentiles to do it instead. In fact, when the Jews started to speak against the truth as it is written, Acts 13:46 records that, “Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.”

This is now seen with SDA’s, or “Capernaum” as they were called in their Review & Herald Newsletter back in 1893. They were warned of their apostasy near the end of the prophesied 9th hour, but of course, they ignored the warnings and fell into apostasy. They stopped preaching the present truth so as to stay in tune with Rome religiously as well as politically. And like the Jews before them, they too think they are still chosen of God to this day. They even declare themselves to be the remnant when that’s prophetically and biblically impossible now. Ask any staunch SDA person or SDA pastor and you will see what I mean. They will admit to be both the remnant as well as in apostasy.

(3)  For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

In other words, just being a Jew or being circumcised in the flesh does not save anyone. And being a Gentile who does not believe doesn’t mean God’s will for them will fail either; be it good or bad. We are saved by faith and not by works.

Many Atheists think today that if they declare they don’t believe it; that means God has no power over them for good or for bad. How well did that work out for Pharaoh? Goliath? Jericho? Haman and a host of others?

Paul is also saying here that the Jews lack of faith in the true Messiah does in fact slate them for damnation. But, most Christians today still think Israel is blessed and chosen of God. Their pastors teach the Jews rightfully claim Heaven as theirs, even though they have no faith in God when it comes to His only begotten Son Jesus. But that is not how it works. Their lack of faith does have an effect

What I mean is, their unbelief cannot possibly make the faith of God any less effective in the soul that believes. And their lack of faith in God cannot make His promises theirs for the taking while they stand in open denial of Him. Their lack of faith does have an effect. But not in the way they assume.

And so, re-reading verse 3 along with verse 4 it says, “For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?  (4)  God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

We all need to overcome our fleshly desires so that when judged, as we know is happening as we speak, (also see this) we are found worthy of His blessings. This is a very important point for all of us in these last days regarding reception of the Latter Rain.

We are all going to be justified in what we preach in the coming days and yes, many will lie about us and the truth we present. But we have to overcome with each passing day the hell inspired desire to respond to their lies and their false claims as well as their strange and demonic plans against us because we know all Paul declared in Romans 12:19, “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” That means all that they speak and seek to do unto us literally makes our God laugh. Psalms 2:4 actually says, “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”

(5)  But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)  (commend = to acclaim, extol, or praise)

Even if our sinful acts glorify God whose ways are not our ways, this doesn’t mean our God is evil. For he can use the good or the bad to further His glory. Was He not glorified by all Pharaoh’s evil men when they shouted in Exodus 14:25 that God, “took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.” Or was our Lord not glorified when the wicked Goliath was defeated by the youth David? Was our God not also glorified when Nebuchadnezzar’s plans to kill Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in a furnace of fire were thwarted by our God, or Daniel in the lion’s den? I can go on for some time, I’m sure; but since the righteousness of God’s perfect response to our unrighteousness is found to be right, is it wrong for God to be angry with us as men say? No, He has an absolute perfect reason to be angry. But re-reading the end of verse 5 along with verse 6 it says, “Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (6)  God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?”

In other words, if God is just as wicked as man is and a liar to boot as some claim He is, then how could He possibly judge anyone?

(7)  For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?

In other words.. If we use lies to glorify God, and people actually gain salvation by our wicked actions, why then would we not still be judged as sinners? It’s because a lie is still a lie, and we would still be sinners.

Our ever-living God can and does use the good and the bad to further glorify His name. Pharaoh who was Atheist, was used to glorify God before the Jews and the Egyptians regardless of the fact Pharaoh hated God with a passion.

God is truth. No matter what! All untruthfulness is sin no matter how you slice it. The next verse we are about to read confirms this. Plus what of those workers of iniquity who prophesied and healed people in Jesus name? They are still judged unworthy of Salvation until they repent. Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 7:22-23? He said, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

What Paul is getting at here in Romans 3:7-9 is, just being a Jew doesn’t guarantee Heaven. They need to do God’s will like everyone else. Just because they were the “chosen” people and ordained to preach the Oracles of God at one time doesn’t mean they can ignore His will and sin yet still gain Heaven. Again, the Catholics and SDA’s who claim to be chosen need to learn this in a big way.

Picking up where Paul said in verse 7 “why yet am I also judged as a sinner?” Verse 8 says, “And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

To say, “Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just” simply means Those that say “let us do evil, that good may come” deserve damnation.

(9)  What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

Often we are slandered by those that hate Christ and the truth He called us to present. Shall we lie to defend ourselves?  In other words.. for many years, and to this day, I have been spoken of in ways that were purely lies. I could have easily fabricated a lie or even stretched the truth a little bit to make myself appear better in the eyes of those that heard the lies about me; but doing so would make me just as bad as those that lied about me in the first place.

Plus, if I did that, Satan would certainly use it against me later to make sure people heard about the lie I spewed so as to destroy the message I am called to proclaim. But I have to say that my foundation is on Christ. PERIOD! And so, Let them say what they want. For I know my Lord is coming soon and all their lies and wicked acts will be exposed as they are shouted from the rooftops. Right now, I am vindicated in the eyes of my God, and later on I will be vindicated even in the eyes of those about to burn in hellfire. For my King Jesus said in Luke 12:3, “Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.”

(10)  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:  (11)  There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.  (12)  They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.  (13)  Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:

By the way, as we read onto verse 18 in a moment, this describes the demon possessed members of the Sanhedrin as well as the Pharisees back then and even unto this day. Their Babylonian Talmud which is available to be read today confirms this in a big way!

(14)  Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:  (15)  Their feet are swift to shed blood:  (16)  Destruction and misery are in their ways:  (17)  And the way of peace have they not known:  (18)  There is no fear of God before their eyes.  (19)  Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

In other words, they have no excuse. Truth is truth. No getting around it.

And to be “under the law” is to be in sin. For the term “under the Law” means to be “under the curse” of the Law. And that curse is only applied on the unrepentant sinner. Galatians 3:10 clearly says, “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.” And Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:” And then to lock it down, it says in Romans 2:12-13,16, “For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;  (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.”

Jesus literally took our place in a cursed death when He hung on the cross and died with all our sins upon Him. It is so strange to me and so very sad as well to think of how many people out there in the world that could be saved from damnation if they just let Jesus be the death they, and all of us deserve.

(20)  Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

The law has no power to save anyone. It is only there to educate the sinner that he is in sin and needs a Saviour. When Jesus becomes Saviour to them, they now keep the law written on their hearts proving, the law did define sin.

(21)  But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

When Paul says “the righteousness of God without the law is manifested” here, he confirms what he said in the previous chapter regarding Gentiles that were never taught the law, (without the law) yet after finding Christ as Saviour they were keeping it without a single Jew teaching them. It says in Romans 2:14-15, “For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:  (15)  Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)”

This is how important and how powerful the Holy Spirit is in the hearts of God obedient people. It shows how the hand of God moved them to do as He commands so they can gain Heaven and be with Him for eternity. Now THAT is a loving Father! As He guides them, they clearly reveal that God’s law is clearly written in their hearts. And regardless of the fact the Gentiles aren’t Jews, Paul said in verse (22) that, “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: (23)  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  (24)  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”

This is why I believe if every church today would do a study on the Sanctuary with its mountain of prophecy and doctrine, there would be no denominations at all. In fact, if they too studied as they did eons ago, the Jews would be believers in Christ to this day. The four horns on the altar of sacrifice pointing NSEW alone would open their eyes to see it’s not about Jews or Gentiles at all. It’s about ALL of mankind! In fact, Paul said in Galatians 3:28, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”

(25)  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  (26)  To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.  (27)  Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

(propitiation = atonement. In fact, the (G2435) Greek definition of the word literally means an atoning victim, or (specifically) the lid of the Ark (in the Temple): – mercyseat.)

And just so you know, when Paul says “sins that are past” he means all the sins we committed before accepting Jesus as Saviour are ALL gone! No need to ask forgiveness of past sins for it is clearly declared in Acts 22:16, “And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.”

Jesus died for our sins. Therefore, how can some in the fallen churches boast of being holier than anyone else when no one can do anything to remove any of our sins in the first place? Jesus is the propitiation of our sins that were placed upon Him when He died as our Lamb sacrifice. In short, we did nothing to gain salvation other than to say thank you Lord. Jesus did all that for us. That’s why even though the High priests of old sprinkled the blood of the sacrifice on the curtain of the Most Holy Place that each year on the Day of Atonement it was miraculously removed by our God on that very day proving what Jesus meant when He said with His last breath “it is finished” in John 19:30.

(28)  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

And contrary to popular belief in all the fallen churches claiming the Law was abolished at the cross, No, this is not to say the Law is nullified. As I shared earlier from Romans 2:14-15 wherein the uneducated Gentiles kept the Law as if taught by the Jews beforehand, this all proves that when we accept Jesus as Lord and have faith in doing so, we will naturally keep the Law that the Holy Spirit writes on our hearts. In short, we are not saved by keeping the Law. We keep it because we are saved.

(29)  Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:

When we read such blunt verses as this, it makes us wonder how blind the Popes and prelates of Rome are that have been preaching since March 07, 321AD that the Law of God is only for the Jews by their claim that His Sabbath is a Jewish Sabbath. This verse proves they openly lied to glorify their dying god of lies.

(30)  Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

In short, our God is the only one that can justify the Jew (who are of the circumcision) as well as the Gentile (who are of the uncircumcised) by the faith they have individually in His Son. Mankind has no say so in the matter when it comes to who is and who is not saved, regardless of what the Jews or Rome claim to this day, and so in closing, I echo that which Paul declared in verse (31), which is, “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.”
