This next prophecy happens to be one of my favorites because in just a few moments you can expose the Vatican in a way that most people find shocking as to how accurate Christian prophecy is. As if there was any doubt. This prophecy actually touches on three separate events in history in just one prophetic verse.
If you watched the previous video in this series you already know about the first two parts of this prophecy being fulfilled by the Vatican during a 1260 year period in history wherein they came to power and then lost their power. The final part of this prophecy found in Revelation 17:8 is what locks it all down. When speaking of the Vatican beast system it clearly says, “… behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”
Now as you will recall from the previous video, “the beast that was“ is fulfilled by the Roman Catholic church beginning its church and state power in the year 538ad where it continued with absolute power until Napoleon sent in General Berthier in the year 1798ad to remove the Pope from power.
When the Napoleon did that it began the time period in the prophecy that says the beast system “is not” in power. What is prophesied next is for the Vatican to once again receive its absolute church and state power so as to fulfill the “yet is” portion of this prophecy. And so, did the Vatican regain its church and state power as the Bible said it would? Historic record confirms that in the year 1929…

At that time Premier Mussolini, as Italian Foreign Minister representing King Victor Emmanuel–the first Italian Premier ever to cross the threshold of the Vatican–exchanged with Cardinal Gasparri, Papal Secretary of State, representing Pope Pius XI, ratifications of the treaties signed at the Lateran Palace on Feb. 11. Prophecy fulfilled!
the beast that was: is the Roman Catholic church beginning its church and state power in 538ad.
…and is not: has to do with when Napoleon sent in General Berthier in 1798ad to remove the Pope from power.
…yet is: is from 1929 to present day wherein the Roman Catholic Church has been a church & state exactly as prophesied for these last days.
Now do you see why this is my favorite prophecy to expose the Vatican beast system? This prophecy is so blunt, and so to the point that there is no need of explaining it any further.
As I have said before so many times, this can only be understood if in fact the one studying these prophetic facts has already investigated the three previous prophecies that defined each state of this beast’s existence throughout actual and well documented human history. Those prophecies said that beast would be in power, it would lose its power and then regain its power. And so it has.

This next prophecy deals with the historic fact that the Popes were in fact prophesied to torture and kill hundreds of millions of Christians for exactly 1260 years during what history now calls the Inquisition. This was to be their first reign of terror. When speaking of the Popes of Rome, the prophets Daniel and John declared this in the infallible Word of God.
- Daniel 7:25, “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.“
- Revelation 12:6, “And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.“
- Revelation 13:5, “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.“
The “forty and two months” of Rev 13:5, the “thousand two hundred and threescore days” of Revelation 12:6 and the “time, and times and dividing of time” of Daniel 7:25 actually equal the same period of time in history. And so, just as 42 months equates to 3½ years. A “time” which is one year, a “times” which is two years, and a “dividing of time” is actually half a year, thereby totaling 3½ years, and then the 42 biblical months of 30 days each does in fact equal the “thousand two hundred and threescore days” or 1260 literal days.
A “time” = ONE year.
A “times” = TWO years
A “dividing a time” = ½ year
TOTAL = 3½ years |
42 MONTHS = 3½ years
12 MONTHS X 3½ = 42 MONTHS

The simple math is that 42 biblical months, or 3½ years equals 1260 literal days. Now yes, some do believe that 42 months does NOT equal 1260 days because all our months do not equal 30 days each. But we are looking at biblical prophecies here and the Bible clearly states a year was 360 days long wherein the modern calendar of today states the year is 365 days long. But this actually has to do with yet another prophecy found in Daniel 7:25 wherein it says this Antichrist will “think to change times and laws.” I go into much detail regarding that prophecy on my “Times & Laws Changed by Rome” page for those seeking more historic info on this.
As prophesied the Vatican changed the calendars exactly as the prophet Daniel predicted so as to hopefully prevent students of prophecy from discovering who the real Antichrist was during Rome’s first reign of terror. Forcing an unbiblical calendar on society made it very difficult to match the prophetic dates Daniel and John declared regarding what the Popes would do in history. And yes, this is also why Rome made owning a Bible illegal and punishable by death during her first reign of terror. Satan knew God’s people would eventually figure it all out, but he needed time to set certain false doctrines, traditions and even false prophecies in place that he can use to confuse the masses in these last days so as to have an easy way of enforcing his mark. Satan did all he could to prevent the truth from being made known during that time. But as also prophesied in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, the man of sin was eventually revealed to God’s people so as to warn the masses as we do to this day.
In prophecy the Lord uses biblical months because He is the one that wrote the prophecies in the first place and being God, He does not have to bow to what mankind claims was changed in any way shape or form. Rome changed the calendars centuries after the Bible was written and so we cannot use their man-made calendar as any basis in biblical fact today. Since we only find the prophecies in the Bible, we need to stick with the Bible calendar of 30 days for each month when calculating the prophecies that have time limits set on them from God. As planned by Satan, when using Rome’s calendar to study prophecy the truth is hidden. But when we use the biblical calendar, we see a perfect match. Check it out…
In prophecy equals a year.
The Word of God states in Ezekiel 4:6 that “I have appointed thee each day for a year…” and in Numbers 14:34 it says, “…each day for a year, “ So, according to Ezekiel 4:6, and Numbers 14:34, the 1260 days we found in Daniel and Revelation is actually 1260 years that Papal Rome would reign wherein they “wear out the saints” by killing hundreds of millions of Christians during a 1260 year reign of terror. That being said, is there a 1260 year period in time that matches with the prophecies of Daniel and John?
Yes there is.
But first we need to find out when the Roman Catholic church became a “woman on a beast” and capable of ruling in both the political as well as religious realm so as to have absolute power over the people. Why? The Popes needed to have control over the political society as well as the church to be able to pass laws making their killings legal under their so-called religious laws. In so doing she will have her full power to wear out the saints according to Revelation. So, when did the Roman Catholic church become a church and state power?
History reveals the papacy began its long prophesied reign in the exact year of 538 AD upon Emperor Justinian’s decree, and under the military protection of Belisarius. And since the Bible says the beast’s first reign of terror will last exactly 1260 years, which then ends by receiving a prophesied mortal wound as per the prophecy of Revelation 13:3. Did this actually happen? Again, it’s just a matter of simple mathematics. If the prophecy is correct, and the day for a year math is prophetically sound, then 1260 years after 538 AD the beast in Rome will receive a mortal wound that ends its power for a period of time, of which is yet another prophecy regarding its second and final reign of terror that I will be sharing in a future video. If you add 1260 years to the year the Roman Catholic church began its “absolute” power as a church and state government in 538 AD, you will arrive in the exact year of 1798 AD. So, according to the prophecy we are told the first reign of terror of the Popes in Rome will only last until the year 1798. So, did it actually end in 1798, and how?
- “In 1798 General Berthier made his entrance into Rome, abolished the papal government, and established a secular one.” -Encyclopedia Britannica 1941 edition
Prophecy fulfilled!
There you have it. That’s Exactly 42 prophetic months, 1260 years, or a time, and times, and dividing a time after the Papacy began its powerful reign that the Pope “shall go into captivity” and be “killed with the sword” which is defined as by the military as per the prophecy found in Revelation 13:10. This prophetic event that was done by Napoleon who sent in General Berthier not only confirms the “day for a year” is the proper biblical method of calculating prophetic time as this is an exact match, it also glorifies the Lord before the eyes of nonbelievers. Christian prophecy is that accurate!

This next prophecy is quite clear. It states that Antichrist will be a strong Political power. in Revelation 13:3 it says that, “…all the world wondered after the beast.” And then Revelation 13:7 stated that, “… power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
The Fulfillment, or pure fact in this prophecy is that even a Roman Catholic author named Malachi Martin realized and then stated in his book “The Keys of this Blood” way back in 1990 that the Pope “is as determined to be world ruler as was Constantine in his day (p.49) He is protected by four governments (p. 120) He is the best-known person of the 20th century (p. 123) He is personal friends with the leaders of 91 countries (p. 490) People of the world seem to him ready for strong worldwide moral government with control (p. 160). Sixteen thousand journalists covered his American visit (p. 490)”
Not only does the Pope have far more than 91 countries in his hip pocket thanks to what John Paul II did before he died, the Vatican now has 175 nations bowing to their demands. Now check out this demonic boast of a Vatican priest back in 1909. He stated in a sermon that, “During the 2,000 years the [Roman Catholic] Church has been on this earth, she has warred with nearly every government in this world. The world is full of their ruins. Their thrones have toppled over and fallen, their dynasties have come to dust. And the governments of the world today will meet the same fate if they challenge the hostility of the church of God. She remains; she is today what she was 2,000 years ago; . . she is today what she was during the Middle Ages; she is today what she was during the times of Protestant persecution during and since the sixteenth century; she is the invincible church of God. God help the state that attacks her; God help the king that provokes her hostility.”–from a sermon by the Catholic priest D.S. Phelan on Sunday, Dec. 12, 1909, published in the Roman Catholic (St. Louis) periodical, The Western Watchman, Dec. 16, 1909.
Doesn’t sound very loving or anywhere near being a Christian church does it? But then this church was prophesied to preach another Jesus unto those in the world that don’t like to study the Christian Bible.
Now notice what Australian Archbishop Gilroy stated nearly 50 years ago. He said “The Roman Catholic motto is ourselves alone for fellow Roman Catholics. We must defeat all heretics (non Catholics) at the ballot box. The holy father states that negative tactics are fatal. The demands of the holy father (the pope) are that the public services should be 100% Roman Catholic soon. Care must be taken that no suspicion may be raised when Roman Catholics are secretly given more government jobs than Protestants, Jews and other heretics.” -Archbishop Gilroy
And one more quote out of many more I have listed here would have to be what was given the official Vatican imprimatur by Cardinal Hayes, they actually declared in writing that “Constitutions can be changed, and non-Catholic sects may decline to such a point that the political proscription [ban] of them may become feasible and expedient. What protection would they have against a Catholic state?” –The State and the Church, pp.38,39, by Miller and Ryan, imprimatur of Cardinal Hayes.
