Never Call SDA church Babylon?

For many years I have been emailed, called and even spoken to face to face by Seventh Day Adventists (SDA) claiming Sister White stated to never call the SDA church Babylon even now in our day when students of prophecy know and can easily verify without too much trouble that it is indeed a sister to fallen Babylon. In fact, the strange claims by SDA leaders to keep their flock in the dark and well planted in the pews moved me some years ago to build my sister site at SDAapostasy.org with the hope of helping God’s people to “come out of her” before the plagues begin.

It seems that the most popular page on that site is the Roman SDA page wherein I have dozens of documented statements on doctrine and theology from the SDA leaders that match nearly word for word with the Vatican’s dogmatic statements. I also made quite a few videos that are linked out on that page as well for those preferring videos over all that reading.

Recently this claim of the SDA leaders has come up again to the point some of their congregants have been moved by them to make videos on this and so to make it easier for me to share the facts with those being confused by their leaders, I have decided to make this blog entry with a real hope that the honest ones will check out the facts they have not been told about so they too can discover the peace and joy that comes from following the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. (Revelation 12:4)

As I alluded to at the start, some years ago I was inundated with emails and phone calls from SDAs that all seemed to be under the tutelage of the same pastor due to how they all had the exact same scripted message regarding the claims of their pastors when it came to what the obedient remnant that left the SDA church had to say. It took about a year or so before they all gave up on trying to convince me to stop warning them as per Ephesians 5:11 simply because I did have a stack of facts all lined up to help them see their pastors weren’t being very honest with them, which by the way was also prophesied by sister White. Methinks the pastors were losing people to push the narrative against the obedient remnant and so they gave up and regrouped to the point they are now all over YouTube with their extra-biblical claims, and so for those remnant brethren that need a means by which to combat this false narrative to help them see the truth; this blog entry is for you.

Now, I can share all sorts of evidence that the SDA church has bee embracing Babylonian dogma for decades as well as all sorts of worldly and rather strange fruit including the fact they opened dozens of churches that keep Sunday holy so that when the mark is enforced they will be able to stay in business. But; the favored comeback of these dear souls on this has always been “we know some of our leaders are apostate, but not all of them and so we plan to fix this church from within.” But that is a direct denial of biblical jurisprudence when it comes to God’s written will regarding apostasy. And my sister site already outlines all that anyway with pics, videos, studies, articles, doc files and actual EG White quotes on Babylon. What I plan to do here is to show what sister White actually said on this topic with the hopes that they see the truth in all this.

“I saw that God had honest children among the nominal Adventists, and the fallen churches, and ministers and people will yet be called out from these churches, before the plagues shall be poured out, and they will gladly embrace the truth. Satan knows this, and before the loud cry of the third angel, raises an excitement in these religious bodies, that those who have rejected the truth may think God is with them. He hopes to deceive the honest, and lead them to think that God is still working for the churches. But the light will shine, and every one of the honest ones will leave the fallen churches, and take their stand with the remnant.” –  {1SG 172.1} GC 1858

Looks like the remnant people WILL leave the SDA church. She calls the Adventists nominal right before the plagues begin. And today, most Seventh Day Adventist churches have clearly changed their name to just plain “Adventist.” Anyone with a Bible in hand can see the original SDA statement of faith was changed and so the SDA church is in fact as sister White said. It has become nominal to a T. But the honest ones inside the church, yes, they are in fact leaving and joining in the work with the 11^th hour SDR people exactly as prophesied.

Now, for all those SDAs that can see how the world has boldly crept into their church (as I show in this video) and is in apostasy and have become lukewarm; (as every SDA I ever spoke to has admitted; and this includes your leaders) what say ye now after reading the following inspired statements…

Sister White said this in 1886; “We are in danger of becoming a sister to fallen Babylon, of allowing our churches to become corrupted, and filled with every foul spirit, and cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” Letter 51, 9/6/1886

Just 10 years later she said… “The world must not be introduced into the church. And married to the church, forming a bond of unity Through this means the church will become indeed CORRUPT AND AS STATED IN Revelation, a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” {SpTA06 4.1} -1896

Then 2 years after that she said… “If the church of God becomes LUKEWARM [LAODICEAN] it does not stand in favor with God any more than do the churches that are represented as having fallen and become the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit and the cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Those who have had opportunities to hear and receive the truth, and who have united with the Seventh-day Adventist church, calling themselves the commandment keeping people of God, and yet possess no more vitality and consecration to God than do the nominal churches, will receive of the plagues of God just as verily as the churches who oppose the law of God.” E.G. White, Letter 35, 1898.

And yet another 2 years later she said… “Concerning Babylon, the symbol of the apostate church, He says to His ministers of judgment, “Her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.” Rev. 18:5, 6.  -Christ’s Object Lessons 178.4

“In amazement they hear the testimony that Babylon is the church, fallen because of her errors and sins, because of her rejection of the truth sent to her from Heaven.” -Spirit of Prophecy, Vol. 4, p 424 

Where Christ is even among the humble few, this is Christ’s church, for the presence of the High and Holy One who inhabiteth eternity can alone constitute a church. Where two or three are present who love and obey the commandments of God, Jesus there presides, let it be in the desolate place of the earth, in the wilderness, in the city enclosed in prison walls.” E.G. White, The Upward Look, 315.

“The prophet John impressed upon the people the necessity of their profession being accompanied with good works. Their words and actions would be their fruit, and would determine the character of the tree. If their works were evil, the truth of God would testify against them. God would in no wise excuse sin in a people who had been enlightened, even if he had, in their days of faithfulness and purity, loved them, and given them especial promises. These promises and blessings were always upon condition of obedience upon their part.” {2SP 54.1}

Have you seen the videos, pictures, articles, studies, doc files and General Conference letters confirming the SDA church’s fruit is in fact lukewarm at SDAapostasy.org?

She also said “That these men should stand in a sacred place, to be as the voice of God to the people, as we once believed the General Conference to be–that is past“.–Last Day Events 50.4

I underlined the word “AND” here to show she is speaking of the SDAs AND all the other churches. Don’t let your pastors who are right now creating an image to the beast lie to you to keep you and your precious loved ones in a church that cause them to forever lose their salvation. Is eternal life really worth believing them and their claims about how important the SDA NAME is? If it was so important ask them why did they change it from SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST to just plain ADVENTIST?

“Of those who boast of their light, and yet fail to walk in it, Christ says, “But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum [Seventh-day Adventists, who have had great light], which art exalted unto heaven [in point of privilege], shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.” At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent [in their own estimation], and hast revealed them unto babes.”  -Review and Herald August 1, 1893 par. 5. (Bracketed comments were made by Ellen White)

“We are exhorted, “touch not the unclean.” Those who associate with the impure, themselves become impure. If we choose the society of the ungodly, we shall be affected by their ungodliness.” -Review and Herald, October 23, 1888 (vol 2, p 255).

Sister White actually had a vision that declared the SDA church would become Catholic. But did your leaders ever tell you that? Worse yet, did they ever tell you a portion of your tithe has been going to the Pope since 1959?

“That night I dreamed that I was in Battle Creek looking out from the side glass at the door and saw a company marching up to the house, two and two. They looked stern and determined. I knew them well and turned to open the parlor door to receive them, but thought I would look again. The scene was changed. The company now presented the appearance of a Catholic procession. One bore in his hand a cross, another a reed.” -{ 1T 577.2}

Then, in 1981 (directly after the SDA church changed their Statement of Faith) General Conference President Neal C. Nelson said “There is another universal and truly catholic organization, the Seventh-day Adventist Church.” (Neal C. Wilson, General Conference President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Adventist Review, March 5, 1981, p 3).

Is your prophet a liar?

When you stay in an apostate church it openly declares to all that know she is a prophet; that yes, we do believe you are calling Ellen White a liar. Worse yet, you are also calling the ever living God that blessed her as a prophet a liar! Does that not concern you?!

As prophecy predicted in Matthew 20:1-7 and Revelation 12:17, the SDA church would fall and a “remnant of her seed” would be called to “come out of her” and finish the work. THEY HAVE COME OUT.. Proof? Click here for more info on this long-prophesied fulfillment.

For those that claim we should not call the SDA church Babylon TODAY; are you not aware that she said in 1913 that “Regarding the testimonies, nothing is ignored; nothing is cast aside; but time and place must be considered.” {PH116 25a.1}

The SDA church was not Babylon in her day, but as she stated many times over, it was to become one with Babylon in our day! (Also see this)

Sister White said in 1893, “at the present time,” do not call the church Babylon (Testimonies to Ministers, page 50). That was in 1893. But 10 years later, in 1903 the church became a harlot or Babylon.  In 1893 it was a man [AW Stanton] who said that the church is Babylon, but in 1903 it was God through Sister White who said that the SDA church is a harlot and or Babylon.
