As promised, today’s blog entry will be from the last Q&A Sabbath we had on May 29, 2021. It’s a rather long response to a question that came up regarding an article that was released by the Catholic News Agency a week or so ago, and so settle in, this will be in detail.
There are so many biblical errors in this article that I am not going to touch on all of them. But I will touch on some of the more blatant ones so as to prove the Vatican is indeed the home to Antichrist while at the same time glorify the Law of the Lord so as to reveal unto those seeking to please the Lord what His will for them in these last days.
To start with, the article said “Recently we received an 80-page booklet entitled “What’s Behind The New World Order? …This book was written by E.G. White, foundress of the Seventh Day Adventists. …According to the booklet, one “mark of the beast” is not observing the Sabbath on Saturday. It is alleged that in the fourth century the Church and Emperor Constantine replaced the Sabbath with the pagan “DAY OF THE SUN”, i.e. Sunday. Now it is true that the Old Testament says the “seventh day” but assigning that to Saturday is Hebrew tradition. As Christians, we must consider this in the light of the New Testament and the teachings of Christ. If this is a “mark of the beast”, almost all Christian churches today bear the mark too.” –Source
Stopping here first, we see them claiming the 7th day Sabbath is a Hebrew Tradition and later in the article they call it the “Hebrew Sabbath.” This is one of the first lies put forth by Rome around 17 centuries ago to build on the hatred they generated for the Jews so as to create an easy transition into the long prophesied mark of the beast which we know to be the religious laws soon to be enforced. This lie that the 7th day Sabbath is a “Hebrew Tradition” or “Jewish Sabbath” as they state later in the article, this lie can be easily exposed as a lie just by reading one of many Bible verses. That verse is …Psalms 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.”
If the 7th day Sabbath was just a Hebrew tradition, why is it Angels kept the Sabbath thousands of years before a Jew was ever born? And what of Adam and Eve who kept the very first Sabbath in Eden? They most assuredly were not Jewish any more than the Angels were.
As for their statement that “all Christian churches today bear the mark.” First off, no one bears the mark until they start to enforce the mark. And if the Pope gets his way, he plans to begin doing that in the Fall of 2027. As for all the churches being in sin? That is 100% correct. In fact, Jesus Himself spoke of these churches through Isaiah in Isaiah 4:1 as well as in Matthew 24:11 When Jesus said “many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” I did a video on this back on June 26, 2017 proving that every Sunday keeping pastor, preacher or priest is in fact a false prophet as per biblical jurisprudence.
But the message of confusion didn’t end there. And I believe the only reason the article touches only on the Sabbath is because had the author sought to rebuke Ellen White’s other claims wherein Bible prophecy is matched to well-known historic record exposing the Popes of Rome in graphic reality, they would have no chance at gaining any ground at all. They would be outed in sentence one. But after declaring the falsehood that the Sabbath was a Hebrew tradition, they actually went to a New Testament verse and twisted it out of context to make it appear as if it was speaking of a Sunday Sabbath. In the article they stated the following…
“The booklet claims that there is no evidence in the Bible for the shift to Sunday. However, in the fourth century, St. John Chrysostom cited Acts 20:7 as testimony. According to this verse in the Bible, at least some of the disciples assembled together on Sunday, the first day of the week, to celebrate the Lord’s Supper: On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them… [Acts 20:7]”
First and foremost, the man “John Chrysostom” was a manmade Catholic saint. I go into detail about how the Vatican installs saints in my June 17, 2016 video for those of you that want proof this man was no saint. But for them to use Acts 20:7 as proof the Sabbath was changed is one of many out of context attempts that obedient Bible students have exposed as error for many centuries to say the least.
One more thing needs to be realized here as well. The author of the article purposely left out a portion of Acts 20:7 for a reason. Had he left it in, his whole argument would fall as a house of cards in a cat 5 hurricane. The real verse says this. Acts 20:7 “And upon the first [day] of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.”
Rome is infamous in twisting and leaving certain sections of verses unshared because they know the majority of their flock trusts them above the Bible to the point they will never open a Bible to verify what they say. Notice right off that this meeting was held at night. If you read on you also find in the next verse it mentions the “many lights in the upper chamber” proving it was at night. Later in verse 11 it also states after they ate, Paul “talked a long while, even till break of day.”
The question then is, are they saying this a church service because they broke bread, and since they broke bread on the “first day,” it must mean the Sabbath was changed? If so, Acts 2:46 says that they normally continued “.daily breaking bread from house to house.” Since they define this is a church service, this must be the format the church must emulate today.
What I mean is, if Acts 20:7 is the definitive proof we need to validate Sabbath being changed from the seventh day to the first day of the week, then all Sunday keeping churches must keep their Sabbath at night since Paul spoke till midnight. Worse yet, they must also keep Sabbath every night of the week because they broke bread daily back then, and each sermon must be presented till the break of day as we see happening in verse 11.
And why is it so important for Rome to push the Sunday Sabbath? As most of you know, I have quite a few videos and a long step by step study of prophecy and historic record regarding the mark of the beast on this page. What they’re doing in this article was prophesied thousands of years ago. Christian prophecy is THAT accurate!
There is another twist on God’s Word posted in this article that I must address so as to show how in both cases they are caught purposely preaching error so as to do as prophecy said they will do in regards to moving most people into breaking God’s law just as Satan demands so as to be worshipped as a god. They next stated the following in that Catholic News Agency article.
“Already in the Old Testament, God expresses disappointment over the Hebrew Sabbath (Isa. 1:13ff) In the New Testament, St. Paul writes:
Therefore let no one pass judgement on you in questions of food or drink or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. [Col. 2:16-17]”
Again, they lied and said the true Sabbath is a Jewish Sabbath, but to expose this further notice that both Bible references of Colossians 2 and Isaiah 1 that they focus on here are actually speaking of the feast days or annual Sabbaths. Anyone with a basic understanding of the English language can see those references are not speaking of the weekly 7th day Sabbath that points back to Creation which when keeping it glorifies the God of creation. They are speaking of the annual feast days that pointed forward to the cross. That is why right before Jesus died, He said “it is finished” so as to confirm unto all that knew Him as Messiah that He was the prophesied “Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world” as John the Baptist called Him. (John 1:29) Every Jewish convert and non-believer alike back then knew all about the daily lamb sacrifice as well as the prophetic Day of Atonement. They all knew the feast days pointed to something Messiah would do to remove their sins one day in the future. Hence the reason they kept bringing lambs as offerings for their sins all along.
Rome counts on the fact that 100% of all seminaries and Bible colleges no longer teach the Sanctuary message of Messiah and Salvation as God would have it presented and so next to no one knows why the feast days were kept and why Jesus said the feast days were finished when He died. And so, it’s easy for them to twist Colossians 2 or Isaiah 1 out of context because when the word SABBATH was used, the Christians of today have no clue was such a thing as an annual Sabbaths for thousands of years as well as the weekly one.
Rome knows, most people do not know about this, nor do any Sunday keeping pastors explain this because they cannot due to lack of faith and obedience. When the father of lies runs the church, the truths of the Bible are not allowed to be seen. Just like prophecy cannot be understood unless you obey the God that wrote it, doctrine is understood only by those that obey the God that wrote it.
And once again I will share the real verse from the KJV Bible as the Vatican Bible is not known for being accurate. In fact, it has over 2000 verses missing and thousands more re-written. Want proof? See this.
Colossians 2:16-17 “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”
Simple truth here is, the “sabbaths” mentioned here are not the weekly Sabbath of the Lord. Please read Leviticus 23:23-38 and you will find that the sabbaths mentioned in Colossians chapter 2 are the annual sabbaths, or what most today refer to as “feast days.” These feast days acknowledged certain events that would be fulfilled in the future when Christ came as Messiah. This is why Paul referred to them as “a shadow of things to come” in this passage. And make special note that after Leviticus 23:23-37 lists the annual sabbaths, it says in Verse 38 that these annual sabbaths are “besides the Sabbath of the Lord.” That “Sabbath of the Lord” is DAY SEVEN each and every week.
In Matthew 5:17 Jesus said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” No one can “fulfill” a weekly Sabbath because it points all the way back to creation. That is why the 4th Commandment starts with the word “Remember” when speaking of Sabbath. But you can fulfill a feast day or annual Sabbath as it pointed to the cross in a rather bold prophetic manner.
Keeping the Sabbath is a day to worship the Creator of all things. We keep it to acknowledge He created us and all we see and cannot see. Our keeping the Sabbath each week glorifies Him as Creator. And by the way, you simply cannot “fulfill” an event that has already passed. In other words, all that is seen and unseen was created 6000 years ago.
When those annual sabbaths were instituted, it was thousands of years before Jesus would come to fulfill all that the annual sabbaths were pointing to in the future. The children of God were symbolically keeping the feast days back then as a way to look forward to the prophesied arrival of Messiah when He would actually fulfill all that they symbolized in reality.
For example, even the lamb sacrifice they offered for their sins back then was a “shadow of things to come,” which was fulfilled when “the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” actually died on the cross. This is why Jesus said “it is finished” just before He died in John 19:30.
Please read Leviticus 23:23-38 and you will find FIVE annual “sabbaths” are defined as “feast days” of the Lord within a 15-day period. This means they can in no way be considered the weekly Sabbath when 5 are kept within 15 days. In reality only 2 weekly Sabbaths can be kept in a 15-day period.
By the way, this is not the only reason the Sabbaths in Colossians 2:14-17 can’t possibly be weekly Sabbaths as the Roman Catholic article just claimed. When you read Leviticus 23:23-38 you will notice it talks about the meat and drink offerings mentioned in the exact same way they are spoken of in Colossians 2:14-17.
If these annual sabbaths are the same as the 7th day Sabbath mentioned in the Law of God as the article from Rome claims, then I must ask the author that wrote this article to please share with me where in the Ten Commandments do they see “meat, drink, holydays, or new moons” as we see in Colossians chapter 2. I must also ask that if they do believe this verse preaches such a thing, then why don’t their Sunday keeping churches honor “meat, drink, holydays, or new moons” today on each and every Sunday?
What they’re hiding here is that the Law of God is not the same as the law of Moses that Leviticus and Colossians are obviously referring to here. Moses law, or “commandments contained in ordinances” ended at the cross as Ephesians 2:15 proved. And God’s Law stands forever as Luke 16:17 proclaimed.
Hebrews 9:1,10 says, “Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.”
If you watch my video “Is Sunday the Christian Sabbath” or read my webpage with the same title, you will see I not only placed Acts 20:7 and Colossian 2:16,17 back in context proving they had nothing at all to do with a church service, but on that page I also expose seven different passages the Roman Catholic Church has twisted out of context to push a Sunday Sabbath for centuries.
I can and maybe one day I will, go on for hours on every strange statement in this article but for the sake of time I will end it here by allowing their last statement to be seen for what’s really being said here. This is main reason they wrote that article. They closed the article by saying…
“so does Sunday replace Saturday. Observance of the Lord’s Day is not a “mark of the beast” but the mark of being Christian.”
And THAT is something they will declare in the coming days after the obedient people of God go forth in the Loud Cry proving the Vatican of Rome is Satan’s earthly headquarters and the Pope is the prophesied man of sin. I have a few pages on my website outlining all that in quite a bit of detail.

Or, if it’s impossible to speak with them, then place it where they can find it and they will hopefully be blessed by it. And remember this basic historic fact, The Pope admitted many times in writing that the Vatican is the one that changed the Sabbath to Sunday without Biblical authority. In fact, they actually declare it to be their mark proving why they had to write that article. Most people do not know the Popes of Rome have actually stated the following in writing…
“Of course, the Catholic Church claims that the change (Saturday Sabbath to Sunday) was her act... And the act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things.” H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons.
“Sunday is our MARK of authority. . .the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact” Catholic Record of London, Ontario Sept 1,1923.

Yet in the article they openly stated “the Lord’s Day is not a “mark of the beast” but the mark of being Christian.”
As students of prophecy, we all know why the Bible calls the Vatican the beast. It is because of how they have been known to openly trample God’s Word underfoot as well as kill God’s obedient people for many centuries. And so, in plain English, Sunday is the Sabbath of a known killer of Christians. And the seventh day is the Sabbath of a Creator who give eternal life.
One last thing;
The reason the author of the article only touched on the Sabbath and acted like he was too busy to touch on everything Ellen White said in that small excerpt of her writings is because he cannot refute it. In fact, Roman Catholic priests and especially Jesuit’s fear Ellen White’s writings with a passion. So much so they infiltrated the church she was a part of a few years before she died so as to do all they can to hide the truth about the Popes. And yes, they have literally been caught red-handed rewriting her books in the same way they re-wrote the Bible and not only do I have a page proving all this, I have many videos on this as well. But the best evidence against these Jesuits is to read the unedited books of Ellen White. And as far as I know, the only place on earth to can get these books is at vbates.com.
