Is your pastor covered in fig leaves? In today’s world, there is a whopping 99.9% chance that yes, HE IS! But, why is this such an issue? And just how dangerous is it to be trusting such pastors?
First off, every pic I’ve ever seen of Adam and Eve was where Adam had one large leaf covering his groin and Eve had 3 for obvious reasons. What they never share is that those leaves are man’s version of how they proclaim faith as Isaiah 4:1 describes it even unto our day.
Genesis 3:7 says, “And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.”
As we know, most pics show them with very few leaves covering just enough flesh to hide their private parts. Yet the Bible says they made “aprons” which as we know would cover a bit more than just a few leaves. In short, they were “covered” in those leaves in the same way lukewarm Christians are “covered” today.
Secondly, and most importantly, those aprons were man-made. Again, this is just as the theological definition of Isaiah 4:1 depicts would be the norm for those in rebellion even and especially to our day. Truth is, those leaves also remind me of Cain’s man-made offering that was unacceptable unto God in Genesis 4:3-5, as well as the fig tree Jesus cursed in Matthew 21:19.
As Paul declared in 2 Timothy 3:5, such man-made offerings are nothing more than “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
The apostate pastors of today are clearly naked in faith just as prophesied. Their theology is nothing more than roughly sewed fig leaves that they hope will hide their theological nakedness. But those of the elect with eyes that see know they are nothing more than as Jesus described in Matthew 23:27. All of them are “whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.”
Back in 1898 is was declared that “Adam and Eve both ate of the fruit, and obtained a knowledge which, had they obeyed God, they would never have had,—an experience in disobedience and disloyalty to God,—the knowledge that they were naked. The garment of innocence, a covering from God, which surrounded them, departed; and they supplied the place of this heavenly garment by sewing together fig-leaves for aprons.
This is the covering that the transgressors of the law of God have used since the days of Adam and Eve’s disobedience. They have sewed together fig-leaves to cover their nakedness, caused by transgression. The fig-leaves represent the arguments used to cover disobedience. When the Lord calls the attention of men and women to the truth, the making of fig-leaves into aprons will be begun, to hide the nakedness of the soul. But the nakedness of the sinner is not covered. All the arguments pieced together by all who have interested themselves in this flimsy work will come to naught.” RH November 15, 1898, par. 10-11
I have to say that when I look back at when the Lord made the clothing for Adam and Eve, which at the same time confirmed their attempt with the fig leaves was wholly unworthy; I believe the Lord used the skin of a little lamb that had to die for them so as to cloth them in a way acceptable unto God.
Why a lamb?
After seeing Jesus walk by one day 2000 years ago, John the Baptist declared in John 1:29 “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
“The Lord Jesus Christ has prepared a covering, the robe of his own righteousness, that he will put on every repenting, believing soul who by faith will receive it. Said John, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” Sin is the transgression of the law; but Christ died to make it possible for every man to have his sins taken away. A fig-leaf apron will never cover our nakedness. Sin must be taken away, the garment of Christ’s righteousness must cover the transgressor of God’s law. Then when the Lord looks upon the believing sinner, he sees, not the fig-leaves covering him, but his own robe of righteousness, which is perfect obedience to the law of Jehovah.” RH November 15, 1898, par. 12
And for those wondering on how to receive “perfect obedience to the law of Jehovah.” It is clearly declared in Hebrews 10:16 that “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;”
In other words, the obedient New Testament Christian of today doesn’t keep the Law to GET saved, we keep it because we ARE saved. Biblical fact is, the only difference between the Old and the New Covenant wherein mankind still needs to keep God’s law to gain Heaven, as both 1John 2:4 & Revelation 22:14 confirm, is that now, in the New Covenant, as promised by Jesus in John 14:26, we now have the Comforter within us helping us keep God’s law PERFECTLY.
Now do you see why there’s a movement to not only make the Holy Spirit appear as nonexistent today? Such a movement will cultivate many confused hearts wherein billions will blaspheme the Holy Ghost exactly as Satan plans so as to easily move all of them to receive the mark of the beast. But not to worry brethren. Many will also receive the seal of the living God. so as to become part of the eternal family that is soon to declare before all the world “Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” – Isaiah 25:9

Do you believe we are close to the return of Christ but you need more bible facts to better warn those you love? If so,
