I have been asked this question many times over the years and especially after I created RemnantofGod.org and my sister site years later at SDAapostasy.org. The question is always the same from every obedient child of God. "Now that I obeyed the Lord and left the church that I know now is in open apostasy, what do I do now?
My answer is always the same.
What did the Jews do when they came out of the fallen Synagogues 2000 years ago? They all started churches in their homes. Notice the following verses.
- Romans 16:5, Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.
- 1 Corinthians 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
- Colossians 4:15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
- Philemon 1:2 And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:
If you look closely you will see there's actually two good reasons for starting a church in your home. First and foremost real Christians can only "follow the Lamb withersoever He goeth" (Revelation 14:4) and so all the believing Jews started churches in their homes so as to please the Lord and blessing their families. The other reason many came out of the fallen Synagogues was twofold. #1, most were cast out for mentioning Jesus Christ and His truth in the Synagogue. And #2, many sought the peace and love found in the home churches. The hatred and persecution of Christians was very apparent in the Synagogues.
Now that we are in the last days we see a repeat of the same movement of the Lord. Truth is, as students of prophecy most of us already knew that since the churches were moved by the Lord to start in the homes 2000 years ago to both bless the obedient people of God as well as protect them from persecution; in the last days the people of God will also start churches in their homes for the same exact reasons.
All the home churches of 2000 years ago and today have begun because obedient Christians with an undying love of the Lord must follow the Lamb withersoever He goeth just as prophecy predicted they would, and since all the churches asked Jesus to leave long ago by preaching all sorts of Pagan traditions and doctrines of demons, the home church movement has grown as expected.
Another positive aspect of the home church is that Jesuits can't easily infiltrate them due to their small sizes. A few families gathering on Sabbath each week can easily discern the presence of an evil infiltrator much quicker than they can in a large brick and mortar church wherein Satan has many distractions deep within.

Do you believe we are close to the return of Christ but you need more bible facts to better warn those you love? If so,
Do we tithe on the first 10 percent or do members' tithes sit in bank accounts mixed with other money that accumulates there. We claim tithes and offerings on tax returns hoping to get some back, in which case we haven't given the Lord our full tithe. "Online giving" also doesn't send our first 10 percent in unless we have a special "tithe" account only for tithe money. But who knows what the conferences do with it.
As far as "speculating" goes, the stock market is a crapshoot and it's out-and-out gambling. If they gamble – sorry, "invest" – and lose members' tithes, it's on the heads of the big shots in the various conferences who acted unwisely (I'm being kind in my terminology). Yet if we do not send in a tithe somewhere, we are the guilty ones.
Tithes and offerings should be simple enough to figure out; but human beings have screwed that up as well.
You can tithe to the minister that feeds you with the truth that blesses you. However, if it’s an SDA minister who is by law under a 501c3 the IRS declared back in 1996 they wanted all the records of every member of each church with a 501c3.
As for tithing on the first 10 percent. Not sure what you mean there. Tithing is based on 10% of ALL the increase in your life. In today’s world that is based mostly on financial gain. And so, if your paycheck each week is $100.00 then $10.00 of that check belongs to the Lord.
Hello, Nicholas. What I meant was that immediately after getting paid we should send our tithe in or put it aside. Maybe I'm wrong that it has to be paid first and foremost; the tithe is 10 percent of all, not necessarily right off the top, don't leave it sit around. Paying it first and sending it in assures that we actually pay it, it's gone and that's that.
Pretty much the same thing here in Canada with tax receipts with records of who gave how much, it's T4117 (Non-Profit Organization). I do not submit my tithe/offering receipts, hence I do not get the refund. People might not contribute as much or at all if they knew they wouldn't get a tax refund on it, which is sad. Contribute anonymously with cash or a bank draft and they wouldn't have our name, but this would backfire when church "investigators" would think we didn't give anything. Pretty soon all this won't matter anyway. Thanks.

Yes I recall back when I went full time that the Lrod revealed to me that I was using the tithe in an unwise manner. So I did the study and posted it online. And you're correct. Many ministries and some independant Christians use their tithe to buy books, tracts and DVDs to hand out but that nullifies their tithe. Pray for them.
I have heard totals of the expense of development & production of "The Great Hope" booklet as being from $17 million to $40 million. As these are now sitting in air coditioned warehouses owned by SDA GC, "The Great Hope" is truly "the gift that keeps on taking". Home churches can use their tithe buying cases of " The Great Controversy" , which was Ellen Whites urgent wish to distribute to the last day peoples.

Independant ministries that receive tithe quite often spend it on literature that they give out. I didn't know that this was not appropriate.

Is it Appropriate to Leave your Family Members as a Young Person regardless of What age
You are, is It appropriate to leave When they are Forcing you to Break God’s Commandments

Since you are an adult aged 19, and have a job so as to support yourself, there is no sin in leaving your parents so as to seek a place to live where you can follow the Lord in peace. You can also stay with your parents as well, but do not let them “force” you to break the Sabbath. You can respectfully refuse to do as they say for Acts 5:29 is clear, we must obey God rather than man.
As for the apostate adventist, I’m not surprised as they are openly readying their people to recieve the mark. They actually have dozens of their churches open on Sunday so as to stay in business when the mark is enforced.

Only thing I would do then is one last time show them 1John 2:4 and then Revelation 22:14. After that, if they still can’t see what you see, I would so as declared in Titus 3:9-10. Show them as much love as you can and find a place to live. And I would also pray for them daily. The plagues are about to fall.
They even Say that They are Better and they know the scriptures More than I do.
And They said that even if you pray for them they will not Change From what they Believe in.
Because There is No Law But only Grace

Sadly, they are doing exactly as many will do in these last days. All you can do is pray for them.
One more thing.. if God’s law wasn’t so important, why are they working on passing laws to make everyone on earth BREAK IT?
The term speculate means "To engage in a course of reasoning often based on inconclusive evidence; conjecture or theorize." One can also use the word "judge" in the same manner. But here's the thing. We are not speculating or theorizing when we have factual evidence. They used the tithe in the stock market and lost it. No speculation needed, that is historic fact. They have joined their church with the state even though prophecy said not to do that and we have government documentation to confirm that as fact. No speculation needed here either. It's the same thing when a man walks up to another man who is drunk. Does he speculate, judge or theorize the man to be drunk? Or does his wobbly walk, slurred speech and foul odor state factual evidence that the man is drunk?
Did you know that the Fort Myers (FL) Shores Church recently was closed down by the SDA General Conference because they did a (long overdue) audit on his (pastors) church credit card & found a debt so crippling (I know you can find out the amount, but don't want to be sued by the SDA Church for providing a inexact total) that they simply closed down the Church (which was 40+ years old) & sent everyone over to the Ortiz SDA Church. You can imagine what things this money was spent on….
Now THAT is speculating.
Despite Ellen White's urgent warnings against financial speculating, the SDA General Conference has over the years gambled in the stock market, often losing massive amounts of tithe money. We have been told, plain & simply, we are not to speculate.
